ULTRA

A premium hydraulic fluid manufactured from highly refined base stocks which possess good oxidation resistance and thermal stability. It is fortified with carefully selected additives to further improve performance characteristics including anti-corrosion to protect the system should water be present, anti-wear to reduce wear in pumps used in hydraulic systems, anti-oxidants and anti-foam. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications including industrial hydraulic systems, commercial, agricultural and plant equipment, mobile units such as jacks, lightly loaded gears and many others.

ULTRA AF (ZINKFREE)

A premium quality zinc free (ash free) high performance hydraulic oil for use in systems containing silver plated components or where enhanced water tolerance and improved filterability is required. It is manufactured from highly refined base oils which have good oxidation resistance lowering the possibility of gums and lacquers. It is blended using the latest in additive technology which reduces the possibility of deposit formation and ensures rapid water separation.

It is recommended for a variety of spindle and hydraulic applications as well as rotary, vane, axial piston and gear pumps and bearings in many types of circulating systems. ULTRA MG (MULTI-GRADE)

A high viscosity index hydraulic fluid with multigrade characteristics. It is manufactured from highly refined base oils which have good oxidation resistance lowering the possibility of gums and lacquers and carefully selected additives and special viscosity index improvers, which offer superior viscosity/temperature characteristics. It is particularly beneficial where extremes of ambient temperatures are encountered.

 

ULTRA WG 12 

Ultramax WG  is a premium performance, water containing, synthetic hydraulic fluid, which conforms to the requirements of ISO12922 for type HFC fluids. Ultramax WG greatly reduces risks where hydraulic equipment operates near flames, hot surfaces or molten metals and is particularly suited to systems that require a balanced combination of fire resistance and good lubrication. Ultramax WG12 has an exceptional combination of anti-corrosion additives including vapour phase corrosion inhibitors to protect reservoirs and part-filled systems. Typical applications include steel and aluminium production, pressure die-casting, glassmaking, polymer forming and many other high fire risk industries. Ultramax WG  operates successfully in a wide variety of hydraulic equipment and is suitable for medium to high pressure hydraulic applications.

 

ULTRAMAX BD

Environmental concerns have led to a growth in ecologically sensitive, biodegradable lubricants. Ultramax BD reflects this and is particularly suitable for use where accidental spillages would otherwise have a serious environmental impact. It is free from zinc and other heavy metal additives and is the product of several years extensive field testing on the railway network.

Ultramax BD 32-46-68 has a low pour point to ensure adequate flow on even the coldest winter mornings.

 

ULTRAMAX FRE 46

Ultramax FRE 46 is an ISO 46 synthetic ester type fire resistant hydraulic fluid designed to replace anti-wear, mineral oil based hydraulic oils used in fire hazardous and environmentally sensitive hydraulic applications without compromising overall hydraulic system operation.
Ultramax FRE 46 is based on a high purity, synthetic ester and fortified with carefully selected additives to achieve excellent hydraulic fluid performance. It does not contain water, mineral oil or phosphate ester.

Ultramax FRE 46 is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications where there is a fire risk, where there is environmental sensitivity and/or where extremes of ambient temperatures prevail
